Is Civilian Abuse Happening in Syria?

In 2011, protestors were violently suppressed which then escalated into the Syrian Civil War. Over the past 7 years, the conflict has only been growing. The Syrian government and international allies, Sunni Arab rebel groups, the Syrian Democratic Forces, Salafi jihadist groups, and the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant have all taken up arms against each other. Fighting directly or supporting one of the many groups are also getting surrounding countries involved in the conflict as well.

How civilians are treated during wartime is a category of international laws that make up a big part of these laws. Because of the conflict in Syria, civilians are being injured, attacked, killed, or forced to become refugees. The number of civilians that are missing keeps rising as well. Both sides in this conflict have committed many trepasses against these international civilian wartime laws.
There are numerous ways that these laws have been, and continue to be, broken. There are unjust killings of children, medical personnel, and hospital patients. Torture, sometimes even to death, is being conducted on children and hospital patients. There are also cases of arrest without cause, deploying tanks in densely populated areas, and heavy shelling in civilian areas. People are being collectively punished for crimes they did not participate in and disappearances are on the rise. The destruction and looting of property is also happening all over the area. People in need are also being denied food, water, and medical treatment in some areas.
The use of child soldiers is another major infraction that is being committed. Then they take the child and make them a part of the army. They grow up to be effective soldiers because they don't know any other family or lifestyle than war. They are indoctrinated into certain beliefs by being forced to kill and torture people. 

Crimes are also being committed in large numbers against minorities in Syria. The main offenses are being committed against Christians or any other non-Muslim religion. It is hard for the International Criminal Court to press charges against these crimes even though there is a call for it. Getting jurisdiction in Syria would take a long time, and the ICC currently doesn't have jurisdiction there. An ad hoc tribunal could be set up to prosecute outside of the ICC, but no steps have been taken to do so.
